Last year I visited Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and fell in love. After a day of touring many resorts, I headed back to the beautiful Riu Santa Fe and enjoyed a bit if R&R, now if you know me I am always with my camera. This picture came from a moment of enjoyment and I will always cherish it.

One of my Favorite Spots . . . Jamaica

One of my Favorite places to Vacation is Jamaica, you may have heard me say this before, but I cannot say it enough.

Jamaica is full of beautiful beaches, landscapes, wonderful people and memorable excursions. Jamaicans really know how to make you feel welcomed. Once you have visited Jamaica a time or two they always say "Welcome Home".
One time I was walking a bit fast to get something from my room, and was asked

I think that is one of my favorite things about my vacations is that the computer, cell phone, work load and even the house work do not come along. I know when I am at home I am always on the go but there is nothing like the moment arriving to a beautiful resort with someone handing you a cold beverage and a smile on their face Welcoming you!

I just stayed at the Riu Santa Fe Resort in Cabo, it was impressive from the moment I arrive and thought my entire stay.

Things I noticed, were the spacious and clean rooms, many large pools always with views to remember, excellent dining options with menus sure to please any guests pallet, how perfect the grounds landscaping was, and last I was very pleased with the service thru the entire resort.

Cabo San Lucas Bound. . .

I am excited to tell you that Stefanie and I (Nichole) will be visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a few days next week!

Cabo is at the very southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, so the water from town is always south. The distinctive sea arches at Land's End, are to the southwest. If you see land ahead of you it has to be east or north; check where the water is and you will know for sure.

Downtown is two areas-Heading to the east, you will arrive in the downtown area. Split into two sections, one of these, the block adjacent to the marina, is considered the marina district, while the rest is considered downtown. These separate areas within the town center have different characters and attractions.

Downtown is full of wild bar scenes and restaurants with a partying atmosphere this district is almost exclusively filled with tourists in places like Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo or the El Shrimp Bucket, which has appealed to locals for many years. Do not forget to visit a tiny markets here and experience the friendliness of the people.

The Beach -
Undertow warnings should be posted wherever there is danger. Don't ignore them.


Shopping -
Cabo has an abundance of shops selling all types of Mexican handicrafts, silver, and all kinds of beautiful ceramics. There is a new mega mall, Puerto Paraiso. As more shops open in Puerto Paraiso the mall gets more popular with tourist. Shop anywhere in town for tee shirts, wood carvings, unique objects, pure vanilla and designer sportswear at duty free prices.
