A Trip to Puerto Vallarta

Crown Paradise Club - Kids Pool Area
Barcelo - swim up bar area

You are going to hear me talk about Stefanie alot, she is the owner of Becker World Travel and one of my awesome friends. So not only do we get to plan clients trips together we get to travel together.

Stefanie and I along with 2 friends visited Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was my first time there; Stefanie visited a few years ago. So we were excited to really experience a new destination. Considering, Puerto Vallarta is a popular and affordable destination, which our clients visit thru out the year.

We selected to stay at the Barcelo La Jolla de Mismaloya, plan at hand was not only to celebrate my birthday but also really see and experience Puerto Vallarta.

First let me tell you about the Barcelo, it is a 4 star resort set in the mountains, upon entering you is greeted with a welcome drink and a stunning tropical setting. I love an impressive first impression; I think that is why I love to visit new places. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite and it was spacious. Tasteful restaurants we felt that we were able to enjoy a variety of food and drinks. However the pool areas were my personal favorite part of the whole resort, just lush and beautiful views.

Now we cannot go to a destination, knowing that there are so many great hotels so we visited 4 other locations, First, was the Golden Crown Paradise Club a 4 star resort, a full all-inclusive resort Adults only resort. On a beautiful stretch of beach and ever so exquisite restaurants. The have no Buffet Restaurants, all a la carte dinning.

Second we visited Crown Paradise Club also a full all-inclusive resort, very family friendly. They even have family friendly rooms with separate kids sleeping area. For when you need a break they have an excellent kids program and you can head to the adult only pool for a little R&R

Then The Riu Jalisco, a full all-inclusive resort, very beautiful grounds. This hotel is excellent for couples and families. I noticed the 2 pools one with 3 slides for the kids and kids at heart and the other with an awesome swim up bar, plenty of room for every one.

Last was the Riu Vallarta a full all-inclusive resort, the beach is stunning and so spacious, I thought right away of enjoyable long walks on the beach.

Last was our favorite part of the whole trip something our clients always ask about so we knew we have to try it, since we were in the mountains. Please note we both at very afraid of HEIGHTS, we went on the zip lining tour, it started with a boat ride then an open air truck up the mountain, and seeing that we were not high enough in the mountain, the crew harnessed us up gave us a lesson and jumped on a Donkey, to get to the top of the mountain. Now if that was not crazy enough, my stomach was already hurting from watching Stefanie ride a donkey, we got to the top and both of our jaws dropped at the view and really how high up we really were.

Needless to say we had the time of our life screaming and laughing for the next 21/2 hours, we did a series of 11 zip lines some hiking, and repelling down waterfalls.

Overall I was impressed with Puerto Vallarta and I know that all agents with Becker World Travel will continue to have our clients enjoy this destination as much as we did.
One thing I do know that this destination is great for families and couples, and an excellent girls vacation!
